The L-Train

There are a handful of reasons why I moved to Chicago, many of which revolve around the L-Train, short for the elevated train.  Somewhere between an New York Times Article and a song, I always wanted to live near the L.  Despite the news article being about terrible conditions of people in the city having to live through the thunder of trains every 5 minutes, I saw the photograph of a woman watering plants on her balcony as a train blew past and I instantly fell in love.  I moved here and was determined to be near the train.  Well, my apartment is that building on the right and I can see the train through every window in my house and I absolutely love it.
